Sean
Sean Lane, CEO
 
A proven leader, Sean created BTS from the ground up to provide products using the latest technology, tailored to the operational uses of the DoD and IC. While maintaining a pulse on customer requirements, he is eager to tackle the toughest challenges, to have the greatest positive impact.
 
As a Consultant, Sean has been responsible for senior level communication, technology and intelligence consulting for executive customers. He has led a team of developers, analysts, and technicians to implement strategic guidance on behalf of customer’s senior leadership. As Officer in Charge, Sean has lead a team of National level SIGINT experts consisting of U.S. and Coalition armed forces, DoD civilians, and contract employees in Bagram, Afghanistan. He provided guidance to the U.S. Forces Commander Afghanistan on Cryptologic equities, resources, and tasking. Sean served as the focal point of NSA integration into conventional ground operations at the tactical, operational, and strategic level for Afghanistan. Sean has also pioneered revolutionary collection strategies and C4ISR tools to enable successful find, fix, and finish.
 
Sean holds a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis on Aerospace Studies. Sean is also a participating member of the Baltimore Council on Foreign Affairs.
Damon
Damon Mauceri, Vice President, Business Development

 
Damon manages the sales, marketing, and business development for the company and supports the company’s executive leadership by managing customer requirements, facilitating valued business partnerships, enhancing visibility of our solutions, and ensuring overall success for our customers mission.
 
As a consultant, project manager and subject matter expert on biometrics, forensics, and special site exploitation, Damon has advised leadership on enhancing the overall biometric capabilities in forward theaters to support combat, counter IED, and other critical operations within the Intelligence Community. He has supported Strategic initiatives to capture, coordinate, initiate implementation and manage support requirements for the fielding of new tactical biometric systems, servers, and additional field support for combat maneuver units. As an enterprise architect, he supported the DoD’s Enterprise Architect team to help establish and coordinate information sharing between Defense, U.S. Government, Coalition, and international partners to promote interoperability among DoD Combatant Commands (COCOMS), U.S. Agencies, and National and Homeland Security biometric enterprises. Damon is currently developing, collaborating, and implementing Biometric enterprise solutions which leverage BTS’s advanced tactical communications, network and analytic technical solutions to further enable our customer’s mission.
 
Damon holds a B.S. in Information Systems Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY.
Craig Cummings
Craig Cummings, Chief Operating Officer

Craig helped found Berico Tailored Systems and brings to BTS a career of leadership in both the military and the Intelligence Community. A graduate of West Point, Craig first served in the tactical Army as an Armor Officer and then served primarily in the Intelligence Community as a Military Intelligence Officer. Craig’s most recent assignment at the National Security Agency at Ft. Meade, MD, where he was the Deputy Chief of Expeditionary Cryptology for the Army Cryptologic Office. Prior to joining the Army Cryptologic Office in 2008, Craig was the Operations Officer for the Army's largest Military Intelligence Brigade with nearly 2000 people serving in 27 locations across the United States and five countries, to include Iraq and Afghanistan. Craig deployed to Afghanistan with Special Operations Command in 2006-2007 where he earned the Bronze Star. From 2003-2005, Craig taught on the faculty at West Point as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences. In the late 1990s, Craig commanded the Army's first-ever Computer Network Operations Company which has since grown to become the Army Network Warfare Battalion.

A native of Alexandria, VA, Craig is a Distinguished Graduate of West Point and a graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences where he earned his M.A., M.Phil, and Ph.D. in Econometrics and Political Science. He is a Truman Scholar, a U.S.-Italy Young Leader, and a Term Member with the Council on Foreign Relations.
