BTS is seeking a mid level Sales Engineer to join our team. The candidate will work directly with the Vice President of Sales during product presentations, Trade Show events, technical discussions, and contract negotiations with potential customers. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the technical details of all products, as well as ensuring technical accuracy on marketing collateral. The position will require all candidates to already possess an Active US Secret level clearance.
The candidate should have experience with consulting on business development strategies, as well as product development and concept development projects. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate aptitude in translating customer requirements.
The position requires candidate to maintain a working knowledge of the latest software and hardware technologies, trends, and practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Active Secret level US Clearance
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree)
• 5 years of current U.S. Military related experience recommended (preferably in Special Operations)
• 2-4 years of Sales Engineering experience with an understanding of the complete Sales process required
• Working knowledge of cellular communications technology (2G/2.5G/3G) recommended
• Software programming experience in C#, .NET, Linux applications, and/or embedded devices preferred
• Strong briefing skills a must, experience addressing senior level leadership recommended

BTS is seeking two(2) C# and Python Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Poly to join our team. The individual would be involved with a small team revolutionizing how wireless cellular networks are deployed and utilized. The individual would be responsible for developing user interfaces and processes for command and control of cellular networks and will be required to work at two different locations; Aberdeen, MD and Columbia, MD.

Daily work will involve creating applications on mobile phones and integrate with base stations to control and communicate on cellular networks.

Additional tasks include:
• Developing WPF/C# applications to integrate and control with cellular networks
• Create tools and APIs for integrating CDMA, GSM, and/or UMTS base stations
• Work with customers to develop custom capabilities on smaller base station form factors
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience required
• C# and Python programming skills required
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience with embedded Linux or cellular phone programming preferred
• Experience with source control, agile development, and test driven development preferred
• Strong TCP/IP networking skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• User interface development in C#/WPF

Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, a related field or equivalent experience required
